E-card dilemma!

    Going unreg for this one. Long time poster here. Ok so I need a little guidance on this. Now I could be blowing this out of all proportions etc but I know some of you might say somethings to which I am not going to say cos it might make you say it anyway! Hope that doesn't sound confusing.

    Ok simple question, if you send an e-card to a friend, is it right to expect one back? Alright, I sent out some e-cards to some of my friends and I got a response back from all bar one. I have known this guy as a friend for a good number of years, he used to always send me one and now this year I have got nothing. Umm, I did mention it to him but he said nothing and only replied to some thing else that was said.

    I'm expecting too much? Hmm I can hear the shouts at me! Lol! But seriously just want to know what you think about something like that. I don't expect much but I think it would have been nice, oh and he did thank me for the e card but he never returned me one.

    And btw Happy Christmas to you all out there :)

    There is absolutely no way you should expect one back, or take it personally that one doesn't come back.

    Some people don't send Christmas cards. A lot of people would never ever send e-cards. It's not about you, so don't make it about you.

    I would never send or reply with an e-card. They suck. Some people just don't like them!

    Lots of people just don't send cards of any kind, so definitely don't take it personally!

    Some of my closest friends NEVER send me a christmas card or an e card. That doesn't stop me sending them though.

    I don't think you should worry about it, some people would just not bother going to the trouble of creating an e-card! I know it takes a few minutes but I know personally during the holidays the last thing I want to see is a computer :) but thats prob because I work with them all the time:)
    I don't want to get off topic-but is there something special about this one person who didn't reply? It just seems like something small that wouldn't bother most people, let alone them seeking advice about it! but of course thats assumption, I don't know you or any other circumstances that could be.
