Definitely cold bed for me. Was to hot earlier so opened the window. Still living at home which hinders my idea of sleeping with no duvet . Cant be having morningi wood with no blanket to cover it.

When I first read the topic, I was all 'warm bed, ya nutter' but I'd go with a cold one, on further reflection!

Cold bed,wrap up warm and then it makes it even better after a couplle of minutes.If it gets too warm then just stick a foot from under the blanket!

Why why WHY would anyone want to get into a cold bed unless their house is like a furnace and they've been sweating profusely due to the heat?

My house is quite cold, and I have often wore fleece pyjamas, jumpers etc to bed, along with hot water bottles and leccy blankets! Love my warm bed, particular just getting into it. I can get hot later on in the night and throw blankets off me, but it NEEDS to be warm getting in to it!

Warm bed-just warm enough to take the coldness off the sheets, don't like a hot bed. Cold pillow-i turn it over during the night to get the cold side when it gets too warm.

HOT bed! electric blanket on full blast, 13 tog duvet over that, nicely topped off with one of those insulating blankets with holes in them

Summer - cool bed, with head, shoulders and arms exposed. Maybe a foot exposed too.

Winter - warm bed, nothing but forehead up exposed!


I do like a cool bed with multiple duvets on top. There's something oddly pleasing about a cool bed when there's so much weight on you.

Oh can't have my feet too warm either love cooling them down during the night against my bedroom wall.. but when i used share a bed and they got too cold i loved having him warm them up with his feet.. god im a little strange:o
