Its that time of year again when the U.S. stops worrying about a pre-emptive nuclear strike against it and devotes it's entire resources to tracking Santa's every move.

In a little under four and a half hours Santa will begin his yearly trek and his journey can be monitored here.........

The problem is it says he has been to Ireland before he is supposed to have been.

Where did you get that from? He's up near the NorthPole according to the site  Not been to Ireland yet

It will probably say he's been in Ireland by 12 midnight even though there are no presents left in the house.

But you said that the site says he's already been to Ireland?
Now you're saying it will probably say he's been here by 12 -- so which is it?

The final one. Based on last year anyway. It said he had been here but he hadn't.

Well maybe cuz you were still up and checking, Santa hadn't been to your house.
He only arrives when you're sleeping and not waiting up.

Johnny Giles is nearly 70 years old. A bit long on the tooth for Santa. My child would be doing that Santa crack.

The child hadn't the presents laid out for the kids and it said he had been to Ireland already.

    Noones too old for Santa.

Plus as I said, no presents from Santa till you're sleeping, when it's time to wake up and see if he's been, he will have.

I had a dream last night where I saw Santa and his reindeer landing on the roof outside my window. At first, I thought I was seeing things until Santa came up, greeted me and gave me in a little present through the window.

I then saw him fly away on his sleigh.

    Nice little dream, huh?:D

    Child asks:

Last night he said he was in Ireland before any presents were on our floor. What happened? If they were there in the morning, did he come back to my house especially? I don't think so.

This type of marketing strategy is ruining the magic /lies for children. Should it be stamped out? Hell yeah, but we should also cut the bull and fibbing our kids into believing that a fat man brings them presents. Why not just let them understand how to love their parents and cut out all of this magical/belief crap.

As a result children may appreciate others more and use their own imagination to factor fiction instead of being fed the yearly dose of Santa.
