Hi there. Maths, to be honest, really is at the core of Physics and Astrophysics and it really isnt possible to do a degree in either subject without getting to grips with mathematics. Of course, maths at university is different to school but core aspects for physics include calculus, for example and the fact that you omitted/avoided mechanics doesnt sound too great either since that's a core part of first year physics and astronomy/astrophysics.

You should talk to someone in any of the universities you are applying to for more detailed information, I'm just giving a personal opinion as someone who has a degree and PhD in the subject and who taught u/g courses in the past.

Maybe you could take the opportunity in your time out to tackle maths anew and really try and understand it/work through it. Channel your love of physics/astronomy to help you try and resolve your issues with maths by putting effort in, working through some books, signing up for classes, etc. Maths is one of those subjects that you can only succeed in by putting in effort and sometimes its hard, yes, but if you persevere and don't hide from t, you'll get there!!
