Firstly, mods please feel free to move this if you need to but I thought it would get the most attention in this section and I hope I'm not breaking any rules by mentioning a company name.

I was in my local B & Q today and they have an offer on insulation, buy 1 get one free on all rolls plus there's 15% extra off from Christmas eve. So I thought I'd pass this on to any one thinking of a project over their holidays and looking for a bargin.

I'm not connected in any way with B & Q just thought it was a good offer and wanted to share the news.

It's actually a very good offer and they have it on a while, I've pointed a few in that direction myself......:D

But, this thread is for prices/costs.......:)

Is this B & Q branded stuff? I find alot of their own branded products are of poor quality

Just looking at this stuff. It says the product can not be used for a new. build. Why is this ?

My understanding is that the insulation was grant added in England for upgrading existing houses only. They seem to be able to flog it on the Irish market at a very competitive price. It also says on the packaging that no more than 100m2 can be sold to a customer !! Bought alot of it myself so the only 2 things that concerned me were the u-value and price. Seems to be flying off the shelves ......
