With this freezing spell not looking like relenting for a few weeks at least I'm looking at buying an electric fire with a nice glow. One of these looks tempting at 50 euros. Anyone got thoughts on something that'll heat a room quickly without being too expensive to buy or run (or being too noisy)?

Electric Oil Radiators FTW. No noise, heat up nice. DeLonghi do a nice line.
