JG HK416 sights & 'backups'

Just wondering how other JG HK416 owners have found the ironsights to be? The front sight on mine is well off center. It flips and can be easily removed but is otherwise static so adjusting it isn't an option. Anyone else had a similar experience?
I know there are rail mounted 'backup' ironsights available, are these a common sight (no pun intended)? Would I be ok just straight out replacing the stock sights with something like this?
I'm going to be getting some optics for it quite soon anyway but would still like to have a backup.

Well the front sight on the JG is the 417 sight... so the ris ones are deffiantely common... heck i prefer them. As for yours, try undoing the allen bolt underneath the gasblock and twisting it level so its not off centre :)

Thanks for the advice, maybe it *can* be fixed up after all. I'll have to muck around with it some more and see what I can do before shelling out on replacements. Cheers.
