    Hi All,

Lost my shed for storing my 1975 Classic.

Anyone know of a suitable shed/storage area?
Needs to be at a reasonable rent (we're in a recession)!
    Somewhere convenient to Navan-Kells.
Basic requirements is dry and secure - power etc is a bonus!

    Thanks.

It is perhaps two years ago that I met a fellow who has a place in Castletown, near navan. Hi is a horsey fellow and was setting aside some sheds for classic car storage.
He is a brother of some famous trainer, but I cannot recall the name.

    ok, his name is Meade.

    see how you go

    Try Ben Meade on 087 678 8644.

He is close to Navan and provides VERY secure dry storage facilities.
Currently, it's €300 for 6 months or €500 for 12 months for a classic car.

Sorry for hijacking the thread OP, but I'm also looking for storage, but in the Dublin area. Would need regular access to it, so 24 non-notice would be ideal.

I took a spin out to meet with Ben yesterday afternoon and he showed me around.

Prices are €60/mth, €300/6mths, €500/yr. There are a number of cars already there and there is one shed where some guys are working on their cars. He is a nice guy to deal with and offers good value (IMHO).

I have a Plan B at the moment which I hope to finalise this month. If that doesn't work out I will be phoning Ben for a spot in his yard.

Secure, dry, reasonable and fits the bill.

    Only an hour from Dublin!

I also gave "BOARDS" a plug as he asked me how I found out about this facility.

    Hi Alfarocks,

Yes indeed that is my Sandglow Princess parked beside you!

Although, I've recently taken a deposit for it so it will soon be departing to a new owner and location.
I will be sad to see it go but with 4 classic cars, I couldn't justify paying storage for 2 cars there.
However, its' new owner will look after it and it will also be kept indoors.

I'll be moving my black Princess Special Six Auto in in it's place soon though.

    Tony

I found your shed, it was in the DSPCS, Dublin Soceity for the prevention of cruilty to shed's. It didn't have a tag, so was just about to be broken up and burnt. But I found it if you want it!... it answers to Shedy!

know a great place for any kind of vintage vehicle storage at Drogheda. Just off the M1. Great place...super facility. Not into vintage stuff but a lot of friends are and they store here all winter. they allow you work on vehicles and very modern place. Called North East Space. I think they have a website.:)
