I am looking to get a TV card for my computer. I have Digital+ from UPC.

Do I need to buy a card with DVB-C to watch the stuff from the digital box?

Do I need to buy a card with Analog to watch the basic terrestrial tv stuff?

All new cards seem to be able for Digital Terrestrial television. Is this even in Ireland yet?

    Thanks!

No. You need a card that can encode composite video. You know the red white and yellow connections on a TV, thats known as composite/RCA. The yellow is composite video and red and white is audio. NTL stuff is encoded so DVB-C is no good to you.

The card above will work for your NTL digital. If you want to watch analogue from a coax then you need an analogue card. Note quality will be better from NTL digital.

Kind of. RTE1+RTE2+TG4 are always on DTT in Ireland. TV3 can be a testcard regularly. They call all this a trial but its running for ages. You need to be within coverage though. Check the Terrestrial forum for info. There are maps of coverage on the net too.
