Just wondering where the nearest 3D enabled cinema is around here? Want to go and see Up and Avatar before they're only available on DVD.

    Anyone know?

I went to see avatar 3D in Carlow on Saturday and really enjoyed it. Very good cinema. €22 for 2 adults.

The new one in Newbridge has 3D. Haven't gone yet but is meant to be nice. Don't know which would suit you better but now you've two options

i was in the new newbridge one last thursday looking at Avator was great, if going to newbridge make sure you get middle row seats as its better at the middle as more things jump out at you as your screen height

And it will still be the worst cinema i know of. The place is overpriced, the popcorn is oversalted and the screen is never aligned properly. I love the cinema but rarely go for these reasons.

I went to newbridge to see avatar. Bad movie, great effects and the 3d is fantastic.

I never complained to the staff as i know they probably get minnimum wage and they would not care (why should they care)
I did state my opinion on the internet which is completely different thing.
I did not say it was more expensive than other cinemas, i said it was overpriced.

Carlow is €9 an adult... €11 for 3D. Fact.
