    Hi all,
About finished the house now moved in and just getting the final few things finished. Getting the driveway lights delivered tomorrow and have an electrician bookeed to connect them up in the evening. Just wondering if anybody knows do they need to be set in concrete first and then connected up by the electrician or does the electricain do the wiring first and then I set them in the concrete base. They are 6/7 ft high and I have about 6, powered off 2 cables.

    As always Many Thanks,

it all depends on the light fitting and the electrician. if the fittings are 6/7ft high they may have the wiring low down on the fitting. generally poles are set in concrete and cables are put in for electrician to wire up after but will all depend on him

    It's completely manufacturer dependant.
different lights will need to be fitted in a different way.

    Check the product data

Set in concrete first before wiring . It would be dangerous to attempt to fix live lighting .
