the tm l95 is a lovely piece, parts are almost coming out daily so like the vsr you will have no problem with upgrades ad what not, we just sold another one down at cork, hop up is gret as you would expect with tm but not up there with the vsr, stock fps is about 310 - 315, you can not go far wrong with either, l96 is a good weight not to light thought, solid construction, smooth bolt

a few threads over at arnies with a lot of information

I have one myslef. There is a nice feel and weight to it as the outer barrel is a chunky piece of metal. For me the Fps was at its lowest 230 and highest 280.

    230?
chrst..that's a big drop..all the reviews I read all said that the fps was very consistent with 300-308...
what sort of distance and accuracy do you get with it?

would have to agree, if your getting that low fps and that large a diviation between shots from a stock brand new tm l96 there has to be somthing wrong with the unit itself

well that was first...i think it was because of crooked aiming at the chrono. Im not too tall :). When a taller person did it it was about 260-280. so i think its ok.
