Anyone on here got a Sony Vaio? Or if anyone has any experience of this model I'd like to hear your thoughts

Yeah It's a good laptop, no doubt. Do you really need all the high tech specs though? I doubt you do (but I may be wrong!). I've heard that Sony support isn't the best and have actually seen it in these forums in the last few days that people have had troubles, strangely enough.

You could easily get a laptop for half the price of that, that'd probably suit you better. But if you need all that power, then go ahead, I guess.

I'd look more towards Toshiba and HP for a laptop, nowadays, they're running away with the market.

I wouldn't buy a laptop that costs that much from laptopsdirect, do a search of the forum, there's a huge thread about them with mixed views. And for the price, the spec isn't that great tbh, it's definitely good, but not €1160 good

Are you even sure you want a BIG laptop?Have you already had at least a 15 inch screen one or is this a first laptop...many who are buying their first laptop are blissfully unaware of the relative size of some of these machines.Netbooks are really taking over the market for all bar some very specialised users...Considering weight /size/battery life etc a netbook is a no brainer for you perhaps .

This seems like a Ferrari but do you really need all that bling:D
