I've a 01 nissan almera and often when i take off in the car - it is very slow to pick up speed - crawling (about 10mph) for maybe 50 yards or so and eventually when i have the foot down, it will pick up speed.

Anyone have any experience of this?

it appears to be more frequent in these colder mornings too..

Could be any number of faults causing this. Engine temp sensor
i'd have a guess, best to get a mechanic with a diagnostic tool
to do a check for definite whats at fault.
