Applied for Job Seekers but can't find my P45

    Hi all
    I went to the social welfare office last week and filled out the forms for JS, however I cannot locate my p45 from my last job which ended months ago (I was travelling since).
    Is the P45 compulsory to receive the JS- surely they have all my info on file? A friend of mine didn't have his either but got the dole anyway.
    I have contacted my former employer to ask can they send me another P45.

    You can get a replacement P45 issued from the tax office,they ll print off a page
