Nothing will happen. We have a deep rooted protection of these people in society that is stronger than we'll ever imagine. Our society is gripped by the neck by these people and they will not be touched. FF, Bankers, etc etc etc. We'll talk, and talk, and talk... and they'll still eat in Shanahans. Its likely that we'll pay for that too.

better off lookin at the big developers that aint payin their repayments and hammer them - then the slush fund for the politicians will dry up

Who cares ?? REALLY WHO CARES ???? NOBODY, because if we did we'd be out on the streets causing havoc. Ever see the French take any sh*t from their government ? no, they get out there and march and stop working until they get what is fair. We just moan about it, usually in the pub where we are paying way over the odds for a pint.

If there was an election tomorrow, FF would still get in because the country is full of f-ing idiots that vote FF because "ah sure I always vote FF, I voted for his father way back when so why change, better the devil you know".

The country is run/owned by a club of members. FF, bankers and builders. if you're not in the club then you are going to pay for the upkeep of said club.

NOBODY is going to jail over the banking debacle.

The government STILL wont accept responsibility of the current recession.

This country is a joke.

Also stop watching RTE if you want to see somebody actually pull FF up on the mess they are making. RTE is just a FF propaganda vehicle.

What about the rest of the politicians that did nothing to raise an oppostion, where were they?

FF are in power because FG & Labour were useless. Yes FF are blatantly corrupt but why was this not tackled properly in the boom years?

The worst thing about politics is that it attracts politicians. Hopefully the up and coming generation will be a bit better.

Possibly but last night's prime time showed a number of Fianna Fail politicians getting loans from Irish Nationwide without any effort being made to ensure they had the wherewithal to repay.
Meanwhile Nationwide were hounding "ordinary" mortgage holders over any arrears.

If RTE were 100% a FF PR front then surely we'd never have heard about those loans to FF politicians.

Very true. I went out for a session with a mate that I hadn't seen for a while and his attitude was "who would do better than FF". Don't know which was worse the following morning, my head (hangover) or stomach (sickened that there are still people like this around and also that he is a FFer)
