    Hi,

Received an invoice from Ebay for €3.85. I sold one items last month. Will these charges continue? How do I stop them? Have I to close the account? I'm going to take all money out of my paypal account to avoid the charges. What do ye think?

I think thats fraud and you should be attacked by Elfs with pointy sticks.

You used their service, pay the people.

I also used them to sell a few games recently, but didn't realise that they'd be taking 10% off ON TOP of insertion fees and paypal fees. Can't say that I pay much attention to emails from them, but when did they start doing this???

Bunch of money grubbing bastards... Just pay them and vow to never use them again like I have!

The charges will only continue each month if you continue to sell stuff

And of course, if you don't sell anything in a month, you'll not be charged anything in that month.

I agree that the charges are quite excessive. Considering their shoddy service when problems arise between buyers and sellers.

What happens if I don't pay them?

Fraud or not I don't think their fees are well advertised or explained and is borderline false advertising for their services if you ask me....

If you're considering not paying your bills, then you're in the wrong place looking for advice. Just pay for what you used, and read the terms of service before using a service.

I have to pay over €30 worth of fees this month so far. It is a total rip off, but I am selling more on ebay than anywhere else. The sellers section isn't the most user friendly at all!

eBay is a service - why wouldn't you read up on the fees prior to selling? I assume you check the prices of something in a shop before buying it right?

With regards to your fees, it's less than 4 euro, just pay it. Otherwise your account will be suspended for non-payment.
Also, you will not have to pay that every month, you pay an insertion fee and a final value fee.

I've paid about €400 in fees for selling 4 items. I wouldn't of got anywhere near that price if advertised elsewhere so I will happily pay the fees to get ebay exposure.

If I was selling general items then I wouldn't bother as with PayPal and Ebay fees it's not worth your while.
