Robbed by an ATM Machine

Saturday night I asked for €150 from an Ulster Bank ATM...the machine then went on bit of a mad one...making all sorts of weird noise..and refused to give me my money. I then rang the 24hr banking and discovered that my a/c had been debited the €150.

Ive now been told it will take at least 3 weeks to get my account refunded....I was thinking..its a good job Im fricken loaded...cause what if I was someone on the dole..or a single mother??....

When I spoke to the bank they said that machine was a persistent offender...Im like well why havent you fixed it then??

Has this ever happened to you?

This happened to me, the amount is corrected on the next count (which is Monday if it is a popular ATM) and it takes 3 working days. So you should check on Wednesday to see if it has been fixed.

Solution: go find the nearest JCB, use said JCB to remove ATM from wall, and there you go.

No ATMs are something that need a high 9's rating/correct functionality.

If you're planning to press charges against the ATM in question you probably shouldn't name it as it may prejudice your case.

I tried this but the JCB swallowed my card. It made that counting money sounds too, but didn't start up.

Yea I've been loaded loads of times......and it usually costs me about €150.

We've been getting robbed by people with JCBs for years, tis only now people care about it cos they're a lil more strapped for cash.
