Anyone know if this is any good or not?
I'm a Jim Beam/Jack Daniels and Coke man mainly, but for 15quid a bottle could it really be any good?

Lets face it, their beer (many of which I never heard of before Frankfurter etc
is pretty AMAZING 5.99 for 6 x 500ml bottles???) sound sound beer!

Please, if anyone has sampled/bought this bourbon please let me know if my 15 euro should be spent here, or shell out the 20 odd ero for the old familiars of Jim or Jack?

Oh, and on a closing note O'Briens are sellin 70cl bottles of Absolut for 17.50euro, thats a bargain!!! (if you start drinking absolut you will NEVER goback to smirnmuck!)

Was actually in Aldi a few minutes ago and was very tempted to get the bourbon. Was standing looking at it for a minute. Thought Id ask around first. For 15 euro ye cant really go wrong though, its at least 25 for a bottle of jack :(. Think ill pick a bottle up next time in in. Lidl also have a bourbon for around €15/16

If the Aldi one is the same one they had about 18 months ago, it was one step below varnish remover/drain unblocker.
"This is a bottle with a message in, and the message is: Beware!"

you will not know the diference, but if its a fiver to get a bottle of jack d go for it.. myself and my brother are avid bourbon drinkers for last 10 years and the lidl one is grand if things are tight.. if you are up north you can get a bottle of jim beam black for 15.... nice:D

I find that very hard to believe - even with ice and coke, a real Jack drinker can tell it apart from any other bourbon. Likewise, an Absolut drinker can tell it from others. They are very distinctive.

Are you saying that it actually tastes the same? If so, why don't you drink it all the time?
