It depends on the output of your laptop?

Is it S-Video (Yellow coloured usually, looks like the old PS/2 mouse/keyboard connection)

If so, then just get S-Video -> Scart for TV or S-Video -> Composite (The yellow connector for video).

You'd get these in any electrical/computer store I'd imagine. I don't think it would cost more than 10 euro surely. Hopefully just 5 quid.

If you have HDMI, then you'll need a HDMI TV I'm assuming since it's digital signal. If you're TV can tag VGA/DVI connection then you could connect directly from laptop. Depends what's available on both your TV and laptop.

    HDMI cables are quite expensive!

do both tv and comp have these ports?
If so ALDI or tesco for HDMI cabel. Dont pay more than €10 for one. There is no differance in quality between those and the €80 version.

WEb is right on the s-vid. YOU could go for VGA and audion into scart.

An idea of ports on the laptop and tv would help
