How do you watch your media?

I've completely abandoned TV, all my media comes via the internet now. The only time I listen to a traditional radio is on my alarm radio and in the car, if I could get last.fm in my car I'd probably never listen to the radio outside of the hours of 8-11am and 4-7pm.

I would never willingly go back to tv, I think sky is the greatest waste of money ever invented. Paying a fee to watch a service overrun with adds just seems rediculos to me. Even official websites are infinitely better than standard over the air options.

A mix of all. TV hasn't been very good this year at all. Allot of crap currently airing with a few exceptions.

If I want to catch up with something I will rent from Xtravision. I can't be bothered to wait for downloads and advertising is getting ridiculous. However I do plan to watch Mad Men over the Xmas on RTÉ Player.

Your last option doesn't work because if you are reading this then you are looking at media. No?

Exclusively internet and the occasional book - no TV, radio or magazines.

Watch Irish and UK stuff on the telly... ie. Misfits, Shameless, Skins, The Inbetweeners, Doctor Who, Torchwood, The IT Crowd, QI, Hollyoaks, Ros na Run, Fair City, Seacht and Rasai na Gaillimhe, which is a fair bit. Everything else on the internet or dvd.

Online, downloads etc. - advert free!, greatest invention in human history are DVD/Blu-Ray players that have a USB port for file playback! :-)

The last option was surplus to requirements I just didn't see any way of getting rid of it. Overall the poll is very poor, I'll admit that. I don't do polls that often, I'm not good at ok, there I said it, happy now?!! *runs away crying*

Overall RTEs player is fairly decent for watching RTE content, same goes for Channel 4. I suppose it makes a difference that I got rid of the tele and bought a large monitor instead. I don't have the option of turning on the tele any more.

There should have been an option in the poll to see if people still have teles?

You're hardly the man to be criticising poorly worded polls!;)

I watch a mix of both. Sky + is a great invention so if I can watch something on tv, I will. Otherwise I download lots of sports and American shows.

I get most of my media from my American cousins, my life's been changed since I got the Xbox 360 which can play the strange format they send it in.

Sky is good if you enjoy sports, that's about it. And I do Goddamn love sports. One the F1, IndyCar, NASCAR and Rugby League starts again in a few months the balance of TV:Internet will increase quite a bit.

Live stuff is the opne place where the internet falls on it's hole. Rte do a reasonably good job at live stuff but the quality is terrible.

To get those live games though you do have to pay a premium.
