    Looking at three of these in HN. 100Hz €729; 200Hz €799; 600Hz €929.

    Opinions anyone?

    Cheers,

    Freddie.

I just got the 600hz version. It's a good tv with a 5 year warranty. Cant fault it. Picture and sound is as good as any other brand I have looked at. A lt of plasmas and LCD's are let down by their sound quality especially the new super thin Samsung tv's.

Edit: €929 is a good price too. For the sake of €200 it's not worth considering the other versions.

Whats the 200Hz one, out of interest?

The 2009 range goes like this

    42X10 - 100Hz, HD ready
    42S10 - 400Hz, Full HD
    42G10 - 600Hz NeoPDP, Full HD

If only watching sd tv, strongly consider the 42X10, very good set for the cash, if you're even half thinking about a 1080p set, get the 42G10, forget about the 42S10, its based on last years tech afaik..

Got the 42 G10 from Power City, very good. Only niggle is it won't default to HDMI1 for input, unless I am missing something. Very good pic for Hi Def (NTL HD, Blu ray, Xbox 360) , NTL SD and DVD are quite good too.

Strange as it always goes to HDMI1 when I click on the AV button on the remote ?

Look at the 'power on preference' in the setup menu, if it has it. I have a slightly older PZ series and this is where you set the power on default.

Ended up buying the S10 - €775 in HN.
