I don't know if it mean's anything to you guys, but here goes.

Last week one of my best mates in the last three years returned home to Poland.

Before moving here he was a police officer in Poland.

On leaving him to the airport I asked what were his plan's as his return was sudden (family crisis) and he said, "Martin, I hated policing in Poland. I'm not a smart ass with people & I don't like to be the hardman" ... "Everytime I had dealings with the police here it was a pleasure to talk to some one who could think for themselves so I'm going to rejoin the police force and be like an Irish policeman".

He left with the highest respect for you guys.

Just thought I'd pass that on.
