Know anyone who can fix a broken speedometer?

    I've a 10-yr-old ford focus - the speedometer only works half the time, all the other dials are fine. Can anyone recommend someone who'd fix it?
    My girlfriend is usig the car for her driving test soon so need to get it fixed....

    My mechanic recommended Dessie Kennedy but he didn't want try it.
    Anyone else aside from the main dealers? Thanks!
