Did you reset the boiler.... This usually fixes it.... Sounds like a faulty electrode if not about 100 Euro to fix( electrode 10 euro)

My pressure went last night and the flame went out. Just got through to a lad in Swords and he said he'd only charge me 40 quid to fix it. But thats only to sort the pressure out.

To repressurise the boiler is a different thing. The 40 euro is really just a call out. He will have it repressurised in about 5min.

The reason he said that is there maybe other problems hidden which is why the pressure dropped. Then again it may be just from bleeding over time.

    Hi,

I have the exact same issue. Pressure has dropped and pilot won't fire, could you run through how to fix it. Myself and the family are freezing and it looks like we won't get anyone until next week.

    Cheers,

    Paul.

As said above re pressurise the boiler and the flame will re iggnite when the boiler is reset. Hold the dial on R for 5 secs and this resets the flame. But make sure the boiler has pressure.

This can be tricky if your unsure get a plumbr
