I am a 26 year old female and I was out last Thurs night, had a nice few drinks (As always) and woke up the next morning soaking.

I have not done this since I was 7 yrs old. I am absolutely mortified at myself.

I wasn't that drunk lets just say I have been far far worse in the last 10 years and never has this happened..

Why? Any1 want to admit the same? Make me feel better!

    Yuck.

Age* and alcohol are two of the things that do this. Make sure you use the toilet before going to bed in future. If it persists, go to doctor.

*OK, you aren't 70, but neither are you 17 anymore.

wouldn't worry about that. I was so drunk once i slept in my clothes and wet myself and i was about 29 . I was more upset about the hangover. i did nothing at work all day, once the boss called me and i said be with you when i go to loo and had to go there cos though i would be sick. I am a guy maybe that is different

I have a worse story: A friend's friend hooked up with a girl on a night out once after drinking very heavily. He woke up the next morning and realised he had had a dose of diarrhoea during the night and him and the girl were in the bed...

So it could have been way worse!!

Everyone lags a bed at one time or another if they drink heavily. Nothing to worry about. wash the sheets, flip the mattress. If It happens again, maybe you should question your drinking habits, but once is nothing, an accident, forgot to wake up kinda thing!

This should be a wake up call to tone it down. At the least, you shouldnt be crashing into bed plastered. You should be ready to start sobering up an hour or two before you plan to get to sleep by drinking plenty of water and having a bathroom break or three.

your kidneys and liver for that matter arent made for that abuse, to be swimming with alcohol and a full bladder for 8 hours. Very harmful, not to mention extremely painful. I think your body did you a favor. Better than organ failure.

Drinking too much = embarrassment! I've heard stories many times of this OP, always a dangerous level of boozing though so be careful. I usually just end up vomiting and crying for 10 hours.

OP here, Thanks for replies, the diarrhea story cheered me up no end!!

I think i rem dreamin' i was in the bathroom.. such a shock to wake up too!

No more litre bottles of cider for this lady!

Ah OP I did that a few time though this was over 5 years ago.
Once did in a hotel too, drinking 2 litres bottle of cider at a party in another room, sure what was I thinking at the time?
I was there with in a city with work colleagues on a business trip and had the housekeeping staff move my mattress into the corridor for all to see and badmouthing me in front of the residents, the staff, my teammates, the HR manager with us and my boss :o:o:o
I can laugh at it now :D

It's not a big deal and if you modify your behaviour it may never happen again.
It's your body's way to show you've done something it can't cope with and it handled it then. As said already, it's better this happened then you damaged an organ
