Okay I will be arriving home from oz on christmas eve and I would like to buy an amp for an electro acoustic guitar I purchased.

I have previously owned a microcube but sold it before I left and am thinking about getting the new Microcube Rx.

I really don't have a clue about stuff like this and I will just be using it in my bedroom, but also I am planning on buying a resonator guitar soon and maybe a strat so the amp would have to be suitable for these guitars too.

Also where is the best shop to buy this on christmas eve, I was thinking of going to xmusic as its not too far out of the way. (Driving to galway)

    Budget is about 200euro

    Thanks

Hi Plonk, Microcubes are brilliant ! If you are up for the trip (the new motorway should make it about a 2 hour trip) do pop in X Music. The lads know exactly what they are talking about and will be able to put you onto the right item. If you cant make the trip goto the Roland website and look for your nearest dealer and they should be able to help you.

    Regards,
    J

The microcubes are class but if portability and running it on batteries weren't as much of an issue as sound one of the larger cubes might fill out an acoustic sound better. If you're in the shop try out the 15x or 20x.

Portability and running on batteries aren't really important as it will be running off walk socket 99 percent of the time. I just thought that they had quite a lot of settings etc and are pretty handy. Thanks for your help I suppose I will just go into the shop and have a play
