    Hi all,

A quick bit of advice. I bought a new macbook in Australia in November. Brought it home but am having problems finding a converter to take the Aus plughead. So I've been using my gf's macbook pro power supply.

But now she's going away for Christmas so I'm stuck.

Any advice on where to get an Irish plug lead for the macbook power brick? A new power brick is nigh on eighty quid at the apple store. Don't wanna do that.

Would anyone have a spare one? Will buy it off ye.

    Cheers
    Quad

If you remove the current plug end from the PSU, you'll notice it takes a standard "figure 8" power cord, like this one:

You might already have a few lying around from other things and they are dirt cheap to buy, cheaper than Apple's "proper" plug ends - no problems using them either. I did this earlier this year as I couldn't find a South African adapter anywhere while there...
