COD4 no servers showing

    Hi all,

    Just got internet good enough for online gaming back after 9 months or so. Reinstalled COD4:MW patched up to 1.7 but when I refresh the server list I'm lucky to get maybe 3 or 4 servers to show. I can connect to these and play no problem. The server list says its getting info on thousands of servers but nothing appears in the list (apart from the 3 or 4 mentioned.)

    I realise a lot of people have moved on to MW2 but I figure there are still a lot playing COD4. Anyone else have/had this problem and find a fix ? Googling the problem throws up a lot of stuff bout ports and routers etc but I never had to do any of that before. Just installed and played.

    I'm on upc broadband with the cisco modem/router (which i've heard is crap). Could this be the problem ? Everything else internet is working fine including torrents.

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.
