I am not sure which one to buy, they both look really interesting. I was thinking of importing demon souls, thats when i heard that dragon age origins is only 35 in gamestop. I dont have the money to buy them both.

Which one do you think should i go for?

Haven't played Dragon Age but I guess the toss up would be:

Dragon Age for dialogue and narrative

Demon Souls for the unique online experience and atmoshere

Asked a guy in GAME on saturday if he thought Demon Soul's would ever grace these shores. He looked at me blanky for a while (He obviously had never heard of it)and then he said "I don't know, but you should buy MW2, that's very good." Gah, i thought gameshops were supposed to emply game savvy people..

Anyone ever hear one of the guys in Game helping a parent pick out a game for there kid or teenager and want to slap them upside the face......NO YOUR KID WONT THINK TONY HAWK RIDE IS COOL AND ITS NOT WORTH 130 QUID!!!

The guys usually range from extremely knowledgeable to blank stare mobiles.

Actually thats a bit harsh, they seriously helped me out during my Red Rings of death but still TONY HAWK RIDE!

As someone who worked in Xtra-Vision, what else do you say to a parent who comes in and asks for skateboarding game for little Johnny?

Most of the people in these jobs are part-timers and, IMHO, can hardly be expected to know everything about anything.

Demons Souls for example, no bloody way would I have knows about that game when I was working there.

Like I said I don't want to be harsh the guys are always very helpful and seriously helped me out in my time of dire need. Its the situation that made me roll my eyes more then anything. To clarify, this guy was asked what game should this lady get her 14 year old. He immediately said Tony Hawk Ride. biggest waste of 130 quid ever

PS3 is region free so you can just import it from Asia / America (went with videogamesplus.ca myself).

Demon's Souls is a bit pile of wonderful, so highly recommended, even though it will reduce you to the untalented mess you are, but then gloriously builds you back up. Haven't played Dragon Age (not the biggest fan of Bioware) but Demon's Souls is a superb experience.
