Has anyone else noticed the increased presence of rats along the cycle track at Bayside?
I know they have always been there, but I would hardly ever see them. This week alone I have seen one dead one and about ten others running around on separate occasions.

The little blighters are creeping me out.

I have milled 2 of them this week in the car - by accident and missed several more. I think its time of year and weather conditions are forcing them to seek alternative accomodation

If you're being chased by rats I think it's a sure sign you need to wash your shorts more often.

Some poor lady got freaked out by them. Two of the rascals ran across her path and she leaped sideways into my path. I could see them ahead of her so I was expecting something to happen. I dunno what frightened her more, the rats or my squealing canti brakes.

Some guy on the radio the other day was warning that there would be rodent issues 'cause of the rain in the past while.I live in the sticks and my cat has been having a killing spree for about a month now.I have never seen him so happy.Every cloud etc.
