You can use any type of rotor so long as its the same style fixing, ie 6-bolt of centrelock. Check the diameter as well on your current set-up

Not sure if you want to get gold ones as the anodizing would wear off very quickly from use on the area that has contact with the pad.

    Some disc's here:

thanks for the response looking at getting these in gold * the gold doesnt rub off the calibre

going for a 160mm front and 180mm rear as thats whats on the current setup. i have seen though that you can get up to 203mm, what is the advantage or disadvantages associated with the different sizing?

The larger the rotor the more efficient the brake is. Normally you would put the bigger disc on the front as the rear locks up so easily. Only disadvantage of a larger rotor being weight.

i've bought rotors from these guys before and use them with formula oro k18's. no quality issues, and 1/3rd the normal price

The rivets on Hope floating rotors can interfere with some disc calipers. Do a search on the internet to check for any potential problems.

As someone mentioned above - larger front disc, smaller rear would be the more common setup.
