    Hi lads
Im looking to buy a set of shimano mtb shoes off chain reactions. Anybody know if in general Shimano shoes are a small normal or large fit. ???

I've a couple of different shimano mtb shoes and have found that the sizing is not consisant across their range,i.e one is a 43 and the other a 44 but they both fit me perfectly.
Maybe see if you can try on a pair in a lbs first?

I bought Shimano Road Shoes a while ago and found the length OK but too narrow for me, but I have fairly wide feet.

fwiw I have very wide feet and I found Northwave to be the best fit.Couldn't get into Shimanos unless they were 2 sizes too big.

definitely try before you buy as the sizes vary, i would recommend the new mavic shoes too, for me they are very comfy, well made and light.
