Give me your address and I can call round with a few friends and they will tell you what to do with it

You send it to me for further investigation. Then I will return it so you can write your name on it.

I'm not asking "What would YOU do if you won the Lotto", I asked "If you had a winning Lotto ticket, what's the procedure"

Winning ticket? I'd buy a big bag of coffee, sit, wait and not take my eyes off the ticket until Monday morning when I can claim the b*stard! I wouldn't believe it until then!

Not that I've ever done the lottery!

Well having nearly won the lottery, getting five instead of six. I have an idea of what to do. Win the big one or any big one and ring the national lottery and tell them. I look forward to the day when that happens. It could be tonight as I haven't checked mine yet.

When I won €1558 on a match five, I wasn't sure and asked at the local PO. Most of them and shops will only pay up to about €200 or so. They said go to the nearest GPO. That I did and they handed me a bunch of fifties. They told me they pay out up the €15 grand, anything above that and a trip to Dublin is in order. I fancy renting a helicopter for that particular trip.

Photocopy the winning ticket and keep the original at hand every single minute of the day and night until you collect the winnings.

You sign the ticket, go to post office or lotto hq depending on the amount won.
You'll need photo id, go to claims department at lotto hq and they'll guide you through the rest.
You are given a cheque as the payment.

    So you did win then?

And you're not out soliciting hookers even six hours later?

    I call shenanigans

Well Mr. John Cleary I'm pretty sure you live next door to me so the first thing you should do is lock all your windows and doors.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,183 ✭✭✭✭Atavan-Halen

He probably won 2 euro. Still though, I'm sure you could get some almost female hookers for that.

Well, lets hope it doesn't snow too hard, or you'll have no way of getting from Galway to Dublin.
