Got a new fridge/freezer combo. Anyone know the recommended temperatures?
Google say 2-5 degrees for fridge -18to-22 for freezer.
i just want an exact number :o does it matter that much?

Doesn't have to be exact, just within the ranges you quoted.

Plugged it in. Defaulted to -20 for freezer and +3 for fridge. That'll do for now I suppose, its within the ranges anyway.

A fridge will cycle anything between +/- 2 to 5 deg. from it's setpoint anyway depending on fridge.

I work certifying fridges and freezers for industry and the standard is set for 5 with range of 2-8 deg. and freezers set to -20 with range of -10 to -30deg.
