Call in if possible, they have a big box just inside behind the counter with handed-in items

Just another sign of good will in Galway city, my girlfriend received a letter at her house with all the contents of her purse from the postman who found all her stuff at the bottom of the post box when he was emptying it. no cash and no actual purse, but we are extremely greatful !

A big thank you and a happy Christmas to that postman! :)

So they took the cash and dropped the rest (cards and stuff) into a postbox?

Better than a bin, and the postal staff would have a better idea of where someone might live.
