Just curious to see how many people have got their clubs custom fit and what changes did they make? How has it affected your game?

I got custom fit with a set of Taylormade Burner 09s a couple of weeks. There was only a small change, a 1 degree change in the lie angle. Havent been out on the course since I got them, but I am hitting very consistently with them at the driving range.

I got retro fitted for my Mizuno mp67 irons. Bought them second hand with r300 shafts & they didnt suit me at all. Every iron shot i hit was a hard draw. I had to slow my swing down to hit a straight shot. (I got them very cheap though & couldnt leave them there)

So I bought sl300 shafts off ebay for 45 euro (3-pw) then I went to pro shop in Birr, Hit a good few shots with different irons off the lie board, from that they told me I need 1˚upright on 2 iron to 8 iron & 1/2˚upright on the rest. No change to the length as i hit every one out of the middle.

It cost 150 euro to re-shaft & lie angle all my irons. Well worth the money & if I was buying new irons in the future Id defo get fitted. Correct shaft stiffness & lie angle is very important but it wont make a sh1t golfer good :D
