Pairing iPod with PS3

    Howdy,

The latest software update for the iPod touch activates it's Bluetooth chip.

I've managed to pair the ipod with my PS3 but I can't play the music through it. Has anybody managed to do this or can it even be done?

When I connect it in the same way as I would my headset, the sound comes for a split second but then silence.

    Any ideas?

I cant use the cable either without going through millions of folders to get to unknown folders.

Is the Iphone/ipod bluetooth still not limited to only apple products?

Either way I doubt very much this is possible though I can't say for certain.

    I don't think so.

The PS3 pairs with it ok and I can use the ipod wirelessly with my bluetooth car stereo.

Like I said, you can hear the music for s split second then nothing.

Ah that is interesting, the last I had heard it was still locked but that was ages ago and I have never bothered trying out bluetooth on the Iphone 3G.
