Nick and Matt Jackson, The Young Bucks, who have been stealing the show in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, ROH and Dragon Gate USA, will be getting a TNA tryout at this Monday's Impact taping.

The Bucks are based out of California and have been part of some of the best tag team bouts of 2009.

TNA would be insane not to sign these two. I can imagine how awesome a Guns vs. Bucks PPV match would be.

Would be an absolutely brilliant signing by TNA. Genuinely these guys are the best tag team in the world, bar none. The list of unreal matches they've had this year is as long as your arm.

This is the kind of signing that TNA should be making, young hungry innovative wrestlers, desperate to make an impact on the business (excuse the sh*tty pun).

I'm a little surprised though, as far as I know they own something like 50% of PWG or something like that so I wonder would they be allowed continue their interest and work for them? They're also from quite a well off background so money isn't their determining factor in wrestling.

One of the best tag teams on the circuit these days. Fair play to them.

I remember reading an interview ages ago with them saying their dream was to go to TNA. Found it:

    - We've worked for the WWE a few times doing little squash matches and work outs with them but we never got signed
to a contract but one day we would love to work for them. We want to sign with TNA as soon as possible though if their
interested in us, thats our goal our dream is to be in TNA.

    - We probably wouldnt reject a WWE contract unless TNA was offering us something because right now we rather go to
    TNA.

    Would like;

    MCMG vs Young Bucks
    Styles/Daniels vs Young bucks
    Reunited LAX vs Young Bucks

Also would they still be allowed work Dragon gate as they've been getting pretty big there. Certainly they'll be off the DGUSA PPV's. Which saddens me.

I wouldn't mind them vs. Lethal Consequences aswell. TNA should try to use The Young Bucks as leverage to try and get the Dragon Guys in more often.

They are certainly very highly thought of in Dragon Gate circles, even put them in the Main Event of the UK show.

i wouldn't hold my breath, the last time the guns were on ppv in a proper two on two tag match was may at Sacrifice

Very smart move by TNA if its true, I wonder are TNA now following the old WCW model of having a young, fast paced, exciting and solid Undercard to make up for all the old bastrds in the Main-Event?

I'd agree if they weren't getting a 2 on 2 tag title match tomorrow night.:) And by the way, their Sacrifice match was a six man tag.

    From Mike Johnson PWInsider
The Young Bucks had their tryout match at tonight's TNA New Year's Knockout Eve taping, facing The Motor City Machineguns in what was described to me as an incredibly fun match that was filled with crazy spots. I am told they impressed management and were coming in with a lot of people praising them internally, so we'll see whether they get signed.

Happy for the Bucks obviously and glad that their brilliance will now be appreciated by a larger audience. But I'm also selfishly a little sad for the matches we'll now miss out on such as their Dragon Gate involvement and the fact that they'll most likely be criminally underused, just like the Machine Guns.
