If you are acquited of a crime ( you appealed the conviction) is any record of it removed from guards. Is it "written off" essentially? thanks

There would be no record of conviction.

I imagine though the Garda computer system (PULSE) retains details of arrest.

They would have to destroy all photographs and fingerprints that they have on you.

What way do the police here take photos here? Is it same as you see in the US? Number/name etc? Look left, look right and behind a height table?

Is it still ink and paper for finger prints here?

The conviction is taken off PULSE but the incident itself would stay.

The photograph is taken against a height chart but prisoners do not have numbers.

The fingerprints are still taken with ink and paper. This was sechduled to be changed to electronic methods but hasnt happened yet.

The conviction shud disappear if u were aquitted.
Of course tere will still be evidence of the procedure on file etc but all negative aspects of having a conviction shud go.

They have electronic fingerprint methods in England, and as I was lucky enuf to sample both the ink method in ireland & the electronic in england il have to give the electronic one gets the literal thumbs up for convenience & ease of use :P
