    Need Help,
In the process of building a timber frame house. We have decided to go with underfloor heating and on both floors and looking at putting a 50mm screed upstairs,I am a bit worried about the weight. Just wondering can anyone ease my worries. The frame is made up of
External walls 7x2 studs 400mm centers
Internal walls 6x2 studs Load bearing 400mm centers
    Floor joists 9x3 @ 400mm centers
    Max floor span 4.2m
    9x3 joists are C18 grade
    floor area 115m2.
What is the max load allowed???

The following is taken from the forum charter....

On construction related matters any specifying of structural components is prohibited. Any queries in this regard need to be dealt with by an architect/engineer privately.

Your queary is specific to your house, we do not have the necessary drawings, specifications and details of your design here to answer your queary, even if we were allowed.

You need to speak to the Architect/Engineer you appointed to look after your build.
