Sorry I dont think so,but if you go up to his garages in Hugginstown,I have seen Mark 1 & 2 Escorts up to an E Type Jag that he brought in from Oz. I think Brian Kelly recovery in Borris,Co.Carlow does it as well but dont quote me on that ;)

Mate, I dunno what sort of Falcon you are looking at? Generally, they are not a terribly well built car.... I tell ya, I nearly burnt the barst@rd we drove from Toowoomba to Aramac and back the other day....

Yeah, they are pretty tough looking cars. But they rust like hell. Coupes are very hard to find with decent original quarter panels - they're huge panels, and get dented and rusty.

The XA's were built during industrial problems (strikes), and there were rumours of cars (shells) sitting out in the weather for months before being painted - resulting in rust prone cars.

The XB and C's are just as rust prone. I have a sedan at home, and its completely rusted out - has been off the road for 20 years because of rust. And it wasn't a "coast car". The bloody things rust everywhere. Sills, quarters, guards, floors, doors, bonnets, everywhere.

BUT, if you've got yoyos, you can find a good one: one that has been garaged and pampered etc.

I just wouldn't want to let it out in the Irish weather. It might melt!

i have my heart set on an xc coupe or sedan with the 351 and toploader 4 speed manual as im another mad max fanatic! and want to build a replica!

plus im just an old school ford nut! i love every thing from a mk1 escort to D series!

irish fords rust to bits to! lol they go every were as well! i was lucky with the capri she isnt to bad! it needs wings sills rear quater valences. im going to stick mustang v8 into her x pack the body fit zoomies raise the rear leaf springs to give her the rear height! and im going to make a nosecone for the front from scratch! it will be the first MM replica built on a capri!

    heres the car
