    Sam Bennett was knocked down while training today.

    His injuries are reported as a broken collarbone, concussion and possible broken ribs.

    Sam was in hospital for x-rays last evening. His head is ok, spine ok,left femur not broken but bleeding & a lot of pain. A lot of swelling. Right collar bone broken. Wont be a happy x-mas for sam but he's a tough man & i bet he'll be back on the bike sooner rather than later .

    Sam Bennett crashed on a descent doing approx. 60 kph head on into a car driven by an ex classmate .Going to be OK . Tough bit of stuff !
    and
    Sam has a broken collarbone and very sore leg . Was due to return to VC LaPomme in 1st week of January .
