Just past Stillorgan village junction, heading into town.

I got flashed doing ~60k/h. Does anyone know if they flash every car or just those over the limit? What happens if you're only 2-3 k/h over the limit?

They only flash cars over the limit. They might let you off if you're within 10% of the limit (I hope they do anyway!).

    I got caught doing 66kmph in a 50kmph. I could have sworn I was in a 60kmph zone!

Got me today too :( On the Malahide road... then saw them again later coming up to Spawell roundabout from rathfarnham direction. I actually stick to speed limits pretty religiously but for some reason had it in my head that it was an 80km/h stretch... was doing around 77 - saw the van and didn't even slow down as thought I was grand!

Fair enough, 100% my own fault and I don't have a problem with it at all (except with myself grr). However what is really annoying is that coming up to the van, a car that had sat up my ass for ages undertook me in the bus lane and zoomed off considerably faster than me yet he didn't get flashed!

Entertained myself for the rest of the journey with imagining parking behind the gatso van and going to knock on the back door to ask why your man got away with it
