got a puncture yesterday in Kilkenny and went to advance and it got it fixed, anyhow when there I asked how much for 4 tyres, for the continental pro contact ones he said the 4 fitted etc for 350, I thought seems a good price, as last conti's I got were 120 each. knowing I'll need tyres soon in the new year have been ringing about and said for the craic I'd ring advance Carlow, for the exact same tyres they wanted 440, like 90 in the difference wtf:rolleyes:

I like conti's I must say and priced other tyres around and had a look at camskill and eyre tyres, but can't find anywhere that I can get as good a tyre fitted etc for that price.

so lads and ladies shop around.

Eiretyres never seem to be the cheapest. On my last car I used to save 80 quid a tyre by buying up north. On my new car I only save 30 per tyre and they're more expensive too :(

I had continentals on my old car once and would never have them again. I might as well have had a greased up deaf guy tied to each hub for the grip they gave me....

Great value in newry for Continental. Changing all tyres on the wife's X5 and my own M5 and the best price I could get anywhere in the North East was 2,300.

Kwik Fit in newry are doing 25% off continental and I got all 8 tyres with balancing for 1,680 sterling.

    Saved 450 euro. Unbelievable!!!

i found them great on the last astra I had, great grip and got alot of miles out of them, unless they've gone seriously down hill lately.

You could get them from camskill or eiretyres, and get JW Tyres in Graigue to fit them for you for half nothing.
