What to look for when changing clubs

Just thought I'd throw this out.

If you were looking into changing clubs what would encourage you to pick one club over another or not change at all.

Obviously finances are a factor, however, the club I am thinking of is financially very stable, do have an up front fee which is payable over 5 years and appears to be very active.

Just wondering as I am tormenting myself as to whether to stay or go this year. Would be leaving a "private" club for a "members" club also more local to where I am now.

    Seasons Greetings to everyone

Needs to be financially sound, you've mentioned this

Obviously kept in good nick, good drainage etc with minimal closure

The members themselves, are they a good bunch who don't have their heads up their asses

Good team setup, if that interests you?

Membership size, make sure you can get a game when you want to play. Have heard horror stories about timesheets in other clubs.

Location, you've already stated it's close to you so thats a huge positive.

I always looks at an entrance thing as a long term thing, cost me 10k a few years ago. Would I like 10k back, hell yes, but I don't regret joining my club for 1 second to be honest.
