Is there still a lot of people playing the multiplayer? I rented it when it came out and its absolute mayhem, knocking down buildings with people inside them. :pac:

Might get a second hand copy.

cheers for the reminder i had this. musta only done 30%.. can't beat driving a buggy about the dunes in this and the great martian soundtrack. fretless bass, the true soundscape of Mars. NOT Leon's Da who used to sing 'a maaars a day' in the ads

and was clank in Adam & Paul

Played through the single player - brilliant engine with a repetitive game built around it! When the game works (attacking the giant bridges, hooking your vehicles up with mines and driving them into enemy strongholds) it is a lot of fun. I did think it fell apart a bit when they upped the difficulty in later levels - become more luck than skill in some cases. And the side missions could have used more variety.

Multiplayer seemed like chaos when I played. Mean it in a good way though. Think I only ever had one or two games - might give it another whirl at some point.
