Was driving along and this warning came up on the dash. THis happened a couple of weeks ago and as soon as it came on it went off.

But it happened again last night and is still there.

Any one have any ideas whats the cause of the fault and how to get it fixed? Any recomondations for where to go? In and around Dublin if possible

You could have a faulty ABS sensor, which provides the primary inputs for the ABS and traction control calculations in your car's computer. Alternatively, if its an intermediate fault it could be something as simple as muck having got on the reluctor wheel (the pick up for the ABS sensor affixed to the CV joints at the hubs at your drivers wheels. You'd really need it plugged into a diagnostic computer to interrogate the ABS ECU. I have one of these scanners, and could come out to you if you're interested?

Are you sure its not just alerting you to the fact that the system is operating? Apart from that scenario, get someone to check for fault codes and take it from there.

    Cheers.

The error states that I should contact some one for a service so I dont think its a matter of it being just turned off

You'd be better off PMing the OP.

If you need contact details of a Saab specilaist mechanic in Co. Meath, please send me a PM and I'll put you in contact with a customer of mine.

If any other Saab owner is looking for discounted new genuine Saab or after market parts, please also send me a PM. I am a specialist Saab parts seller to the trade for three years and have the same main dealer parts software.
