I'm going to try and make some Cider/Beer/wine over christmas and was wondering does anyone know somewhere where I could pick up some Wine yeast in Galway as I don't want to have to use bakers yeast, also wine yeast willl let me produce a higher alcohol content.

    Thanks

You want brewers yeast presumably, there's a sort of delicatessan across from sally longs isn't there? Might be a worthwhile place to start.

Homebrew West out in Barna. They sell kits for Beer, Cider, Wine etc.

My house mates made the wine recently and its not bad, they have some cider on at the mo.
