I just bought an iPhone 3GS and am loving it so far!! My only problem is that there are so many apps there I just don't have the patience to trawl through them to find good ones. I've downloaded a couple so far but am just wondering if anyone could suggest others to me... Preferably I'm looking for free/cheap ones and I'd be interested in Music, Games, Travel, Health/Fitness and Education. I'm up for trying out others though!

Which do you think are best?

Stanza - free app (ebook reader) and if you get the Stanza desktop aswell, you can convert books to read on the iPod.

Just got an itouch in the past week and absolutely love it.

Anyway, about 300 apps later, here's my top 5 (I'm sure I haven't scratched the surface)

Guardian - not free but the best newspaper app of all IMO
    TuneWiki - Free
Instapaper - Free and paid, read those pages later you just don't have time for now
Radiobox - about the best not free
Sky+ or TV Plus - free and paid, both remote record sky+

After a few months, the best ones I have found and still use are:
    • Eirtext Pro (paid€1.69) ... there is a free version, but I found it so good and includes International Texting in the pro version that it was well worth the money.
    • TVGuide (free)
    • Skype (free)
    • Movies Now! (free)
    • Shazam (free)
    • TuneWiki (free)
    • Amazon.co.uk / Amazon.com (free)
    • Sky Sport Football Score Centre (free)
    • Scramble 2 (free)
    • Paper Toss (free)
    • iePhoneBook (free)
